AKON Visits The HeartBeat Project
Dakar, Senegal
Rhythm & Remedy launched their first Music & Arts Institute in Dakar, Senegal with partners: Speak Up Africa and Give1Project.
The HeartBeat Project was dedicated to AKON who is from Senegal. Contrary to what some may assume or believe, this project was not funded by him. We are happy to say this project was made a reality from hard work, resilience, determination and fund raising.
One of the reasons we pride ourself on this project is because we build it from the ground up ourselves. We look forward to expanding these music & art institutes globally. Donate Today.

Rhythm & Remedy is excited to announce receiving our First Grant from The Pollination Project towards our efforts to globally empower the youth through the arts.
Welcome & Congratulations from Pollination Project:
"We want to take this moment to officially welcome you to the movement of change-makers!
This is not just any grant- as a Pollination Project grantee, we see you as part of a larger movement to inspire compassion and change in every corner of our planet. We funded you as an individual, but as the Buddhist teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh said, “The next Buddha will not take the form of an individual. The next Buddha will take the form of a community.”

"Thank God"
During our recent travels to Dakar, Senegal we decided to complete a song that we had laid a foundation for while in the states with producer, Amir Swain. Upon completing the song we knew a visual of Africa's beauty would only compliment the song and take the song to another level.
We look forward to releasing the video for "Thank God" April of 2015.

Special Thanks to Lil Jon' & More
Thank you Lil Jon For Your Contribution
Prior to our travels to Dakar, Senegal to teach English to the Youth we received a contribution for our efforts from Lil Jon. Our 7 day trip soon turned into months and then relocation. After several months in Senegal we were inspired to begin an initiative to create dynamic change by empowering the youth through music & arts. We launched "The HeartBeat Project" December 13, 2014 in Dakar, Senegal. We look forward to launching The HeartBeat Institute in 22 other countries. Please support our efforts to create change through the universal language of music and arts. (Donate Here)
