The HeartBeat Project Students received a visit from the National Malaria Control Program and Speak Up Africa. They spoke with them about the dangers of Malaria in Africa. The students will now create an informative song based off the knowledge they have of Malaria. Music with a Message!

The HeartBeat Project Music & Arts Institute recently launched in Dakar, Senegal. This Music Institute is the first in Dakar dedicated to Music Artist, Akon. Akon stops by The HeartBeat Project for a visit in Dakar, Senegal. This Music Institution was dedicated to him in honor of all his musical achievements. Akon commended Rhythm & Remedy on taking the initiative to create a project that gives back to the youth and will create global leaders in the arts.

Rhythm & Remedy First International Music Summit & Festival in Dakar, Senegal, with visiting guests from US, Europe and various countries in Africa.

We are bringing young artists and entrepreneurs together for panel discussions and a Music Festival. We have prepared a memorable itinerary for our guest attendees ranging from Safari Tours, to Private Island Luncheons, A Trip to Goree Island, Music Panels with Special Guest Speakers.

I Got Sole - Celebrity Shoe Drive

Rhythm and Remedy's First Annual "I Got Sole" Celebrity Shoe Drive (Los Angeles, CA) was a great success. We are excited to announce we raised over 300 pairs of shoes. Big thank you to everyone who came out to support this event. Your donations helped provide shoes for homeless individuals and women & children in shelters.

English for The Youth (West Africa)

Rhythm & Remedy will be traveling to Dakar, Senegal West Africa to teach English for the Youth. We are currently raising funds via GoFundMe to provide school books, art supplies and music instruments for the youth there. Thank you all for your support in advance. Canned Food Drive - Los Angeles, CA

Rhythm and Remedy partnered with Hip Hop For Humanity, LA during the Holidays to raise canned goods for the homeless with Union Rescue Mission.

 

The event was hosted at The Originators Store on Melrose Ave (Hollywood,CA) The event was very successful. We raised over 3,000 lbs of canned goods.
